Sorry everyone for not submitting art/writing or being on DA for a long time. Just finished my first year of college and am now officially on summer vacation till the end of August. College was fun but hard, and I had lots of opportunities to draw and write. I know for certain my drawing/coloring as greatly improved since my last submissions. I took my 10th grade teacher's advice and started to darken my darks, and now I'm not only darkening the shadows but I'm also trying new techniques. So, in a couple of days I'll submit a few new pictures of new and old characters, etc.

I'm willing to do an art trade if anyone's interested. I'll try my best at whatever character you throw at me If you're interested, just send me a message and we can work out the details.

Last Christmas my mom got me a whole bunch of paint supplies. Acrylics, brushes, canvas paper, an actual canvas board, and even an easel if I wanted to paint out doors. Now I'm not into paints; I prefer dry media such as pencil. But, right now all of those are just sitting my closest, and I just got an idea. I plan on starting to paint more now, and I already have a basic idea. So I'm going to try painting again. I had some experience with acrylics in my art classes the past couple of years, and even some oil (if paint by number count), so I'm going to attempt a portrait of Lael very soon after I finish my current project. So be on the watch for a sudden painting.

I've been on DA for over a year now, and yet the only one who comments on my work is my sister. Thanks, mustang. So I'm wondering why nobody comments my art/writing. Is that no one likes my style? My stuff just plain sucks, or nobody here is just interested in the same things that I like? I comment on people's work, they reply back, and yet no one does this to me. I'd really like it if some people just found my gallery and left a comment or two on my pictures. I know some of my work isn't that great, but they're old, and I'm improving. It feels like I've been on DA for no reason 'cause no one's commenting...
